Back online after two weeks without the internet! I must say though, I didn’t miss it as much as I thought I would. Having to check my emails on a limited data plan was inconvenient but that was pretty much the worst of it. In lieu of online time I was able to really settle into my lovely new home, and read the first book in the Game Of Thrones series which I thoroughly enjoyed. :)
Hands down, the number one thing I LOOOOVE most about my new pad is the breathtaking ocean view from the huge living room windows and the balcony outside of it (even though I prefer NOT standing on the balcony because vertigo forces me back on stable ground). I love sipping my morning coffee while watching the moon rise over the ocean, and absentmindedly looking out over the blue waves during the day and just soaking it all in.
Aside from the gorgeous view I love the skylights all over the place that fill it up with natural light, the marble counter in the bathroom with TWO sinks, the granite counters in the kitchen with tons of wooden cabinets, the huge fridge that has a water and ice dispenser on the door, and I LOVE MY ROOM! New year, new home, and it feels so damn good.
