hungoverowls: “Psst-I’m ignoring everyone and everything until the hearts go away. Do me a favor and slide that bottle closer.” Until the hallmark hearts are all put away or until everyone helps me eat the giant pile of chocolate and candy that I took home tonight. I got more treats and sweets on Valentines than I did on Halloween.

    dream: don't be foolish, child. you do not want the world of night.

    dreamchild: help me, Dream...

    dream: oh but i do. in your dreams i send you your loved ones, i send you visions that make you forget your waking life...i send you love and wrap you in it, but you must remember, you must know, that only in the waking world can you truly create the visions i send...

    dreamchild: okay...but promise, promise me, that when things get too hard, all i have to do is close my eyes and you will take me away.

    dream: i promise.
